The Phenomena of Medjugorje

Medjugorje is a small remote villiage in central Bosnia/-Herzegovina that aroused worldwide interest and attention since 1981. A group of six young people reported receiving daily apparitions of the Blessed Virgin. The apparitions continue to this day.

According to the visionaries, the message of the Blessed Virgin is simple and direct. She is appearing to them to tell the world of the urgency to return to the ways of God, to convert their lives to peace with God and with their fellow man.
